Seminar

We have a seminar once a week where the students report the current status of their daily research activities and the results of literature reviews. The discussions with other students on the findings, reflections, and ideas are an excellent platform to present new perspectives on these studies that the students may not have noticed before, achieve creative breakthroughs, and foster required competencies in them as future professional researchers, engineers, and academics. The seminar also serves as a regular training for the students to summarise their daily research activities, shape their thoughts, and prepare good presentations.

Academic conference/seminar

Good research results are reported in an academic conference/seminar. Speaking in front of a large audience might be a challenge, but it is also a good experience. Discussions with researchers engaged in the public or private sectors is quite stiumulating and motivating for students to conduct further research.

Observation tours in chemical facilities, joint seminars with a laboratory outside of YNU, and other events are also held on occasion.
